How long does it take birth control to treat painfull possibly related to endometriosis or cysts?

I was given a r/x zovia 1/50 birth control cause my doc suspects endometriosis or cysts based on the painfull and other symptoms. I do have a history of ovarian cysts and one that ruptured. She told me to give it 2 months to see a slight difference and then 3 months I should see a major improvement. I must add that is painfull 99% of the time and its a deep pain. For the past week or so I notice that isnt really painfull at all. maybe just a little twinges. Im almost done with the first pack. So Im still in my first month. I believe it was about the 3rd week of the pact that I noticed the change. now im in my placebo week.Is it possible that it could have worked that fast to control the endo and pain? or likely a coincidence. Im interested in hearing other people experiences and medical professionals are welcome to input.
