What can i do for a super heavy period?

i've had my period for about 2 and a half years, im 14, and my period is soo heavy :( this morning it came again, completely drenching my underwear and pj's in blood. so i stuck a super tampon in (playtex sport) and moved on with my day. about an hour later i went to the bathroom to find that i had leaked through to my shorts AGAIN. i usually have a really heavy period like this, but not on the first day! do you think i should see a doctor? usually my leaks go through 2 supers and a regular akways infinity pad by the end of the school day
