Hairline receding at front?

Hi im a black male with the typical short black mail hairstyle. At the front of my head at my hairline, my hair is thinning. Its thinning at the very tip. There is a little hair, but is steadily disappearing. I think when I got my edge up, the barber cut it back to far and that is why it started receding. Can someone help me, its barely noticable now, but I dont want it to get out of hand.
