What can you serve over mashed potatoes other than gravy?

I'm making a somewhat refined menu, of provence style pork loin with chutney and brown er green beans, but I have an amazing herb cheese mashed potato recipe I think would go very well with this meal. I think having your typical mashed potatoes and gravy may be a little too "comfort food-y" I'm wondering if I should leave the mashed potatoes alone (it doesn't say to make with gravy as it has its own destinct flavor), bite the bullet and make some brown gravy, or try something new with it... I was considering drizzling it with brown er, to tie in with the green beans, but I dont know if thats too much of the same flavor. Any ideas on what I should do? Or should I just scrap the entire mashed potato idea and shoot for something different, and if so: ideas please! :) I'm not a chef, just an at home cook, looking for some istance. Thank you.
