What's the name of this movie?

It's based off of "The Scarlet Letter", actually I'm not sure if it is, but it has a girl who pretends to lose her virginity to a guy, and wears a scarlet letter after everyone finds out that they apparently really didn't make love. I don't think it's called "The Scarlet Letter", but anyway, what is it called?
